Nanamoli explains the 'Four Sights' is wrongly attributed to the Buddha Gotama, and S Dhammika that the 'princely' life he led prior to renunciation was likely as the son of a village or clan chief, living in, at best, a two storey mudbrick dwelling.
I get glimpses of oneness and connection and my essential nature being happiness, so the Four Truths do line up for me. I have had no exposure to them, so thanx👍
