I'd like to offer a book suggestion by Anita Moorjani called Dying to Be Me about her near dying experience and beyond. It was fascinating!
Once there is the recognition and experience that the body is not the core of what you are. Fear of death of the body leaves and is replaced with deep peace that underlies existence.
