Will need to print out to read in entirety, but first I have to get something off my chest. There are NO roads to God, we each make our own path.

It is my strong opinion, love leads to elevated consciousness. An if not we probably get recycled. Until we achieve this state of mind.

Thank you Jim for sharing your thoughts and knowledge with me!! You have explained my concerns about Jesus is the only way teaching. Love is the answer to a lot of questions.

Thank you for this. Your words about finding Jesus meaningful but not identifying as a Christian resonate. I’m not sure I’ve seen my own experience with Jesus so succinctly articulated.

Jim, your well thought out essays on these topics really resonate with me. The evangelical Christianity I was raised with continues to plague me, despite my heart telling me otherwise. I suppose being the only one in my family of origin to deviate is most of the problem. It is tough standing strong in your faith when everyone close to you says you do not have the correct belief. Thanks for your contribution to my well-being.

Hi Jim, I really needed this. It lightened a bleak mood for sure. Embracing that there never has been a separation from god. That’s an absolute. I’m usually wary of those. This one is actually giving me comfort. It’s an anchor to hold against nihilism. I needed that today, thanks.

Will / could evangelicals do the same thing with Trump?

I cheered many times reading this. But I think it’s a shame that you no longer identify as Christian. I don’t mean that as judgment, just that we can use all the This Century Christians we can get. What you say sounds Christian to me; it’s just not the old Christianity. Thanks be to Gd.
